Job-ID29082581Reference26-23192 Description: The services You will provide the Client project team: As an Industry SME Contractor, you will leverage your specialized knowledge to provide insights and expertise that support project objectives and client needs.Conduct in-depth analysis and provide expert insights on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.Develop detailed reports and presentations to communicate industry-specific findings and recommendations.Collaborate with project teams to ensure industry best practices are integrated into deliverables.Assist in the development of strategic plans and solutions tailored to the specific industry.Provide subject matter expertise during client meetings and workshops to address industry-related queries and concerns. Client Cyber is seeking a senior space industry leader to drive business development with our commercial space clients. This well-connected sales professional brings deep domain knowledge and an established executive network across the commercial and government space ecosystem, offering market connections and credibility rather than traditional delivery oversight. Using longstanding relationships, they initiate executive conversations, shape pursuits, and grow net-new client relationships in priority sectors. A near-term focus is commercializing Client assets and solutions and establishing net-new commercial accounts. Client Cyber works across the operators, primes, manufacturers, and emerging players that define the space market, spanning satellite communications (SATCOM), earth observation, on-orbit services, and ground infrastructure. Working alongside sales leads, subject matter experts, and technical practitioners, this role converts senior relationships into qualified, net-new opportunities across targeted commercial and government account clusters. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree required • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • 15+ years in the space industry in business development, sales, executive, or senior operator, prime, or agency roles. • Deep space-sector domain knowledge across SATCOM, earth observation, on-orbit services, and ground infrastructure. • A demonstrated, current network of senior relationships across commercial and government space. • A demonstrated track record of driving net-new business and building executive relationships. • Willingness and ability to travel 20 to 60 percent, based on clients and events. • Effective written and verbal communication. • Ability to engage as a 1099 independent contractor. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • U.S. security clearance eligibility (an active clearance, or additional program read-ins or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility, is a plus). • Prior experience commercializing space technology products or services. • Relationships across national security space customers, for example U.S. Space Force, Department of Defense, and NASA. • Experience representing an organization at major industry events. • Familiarity with cross-functional, team-based selling motions in professional services
