Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Oregon)

Overview Charlie Health is a rapidly growing behavioral health provider delivering virtual care to individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. We connect clients with clinicians and care teams to expand access to meaningful care from the comfort of home. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will partner with medical leadership to assure high-quality patient care, including comprehensive evaluations and patient consultations, while ensuring compliance with medical policies and procedures. The Role Given the exceptional growth of the business, Charlie Health is adding Nurse Practitioners to the team. You will collaborate with Medical Directors, the Chief Medical Officer, and the medical team to provide patient care and ensure clinical quality and safety. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments Educate patients regarding medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes Collaborate with support staff to ensure effective patient communication and follow-up Participate in treatment team meetings Assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed Perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director Operate within the defined scope of practice and comply with clinical policies and procedures Work a 40-hour week with 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours (as applicable to schedule) Qualifications Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) 3+ years of experience as a PMHNP; IOP/PHP/IP experience preferred Experience with a wide age range (children to adults) Commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective health care Proficient communication with medical, clinical support, and administrative staff Proficient in electronic health records; strong computer and internet skills (Word, Outlook) Equal Opportunity Charlie Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
