Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Wytheville, Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Weekly on Mondays

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in our emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a background in trauma care and will be skilled in managing a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ER.
• Adhere to established protocols for triaging patients in accordance with best practices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Utilize MedHost EHR for documentation and patient record management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• RN license required.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Previous experience in the ER, with a preference for trauma experience.
• Familiarity with MedHost EHR is preferred.
