J&J Steel Company, locally owned and operated since 1946, serves the Permian Basin as a trusted carbon steel service center. We provide a wide range of steel products, including plates, sheets, beams, tubing, and pipe, while offering extensive capabilities such as CNC plasma cutting, shearing, braking, and plate rolling.
Role Description
J&J Steel Company is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to join our team on-site in Odessa, TX. This role involves taking counter and phone orders, managing customer accounts, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for communicating with customers, helping them fulfill their needs, and following through from purchase to production to delivery or pick up.
Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales
- Strong customer satisfaction and customer service skills
- Proficiency in account management and building client relationships
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demand
- Familiarity with steel products and fabrication processes is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is a plus
- Spanish speaking is a plus
