Phlebotomist Position

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Norwood, MA. This is a 6+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). And a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Duties:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
  • Release lab orders and distribute collection kits.
  • Explain self-collection procedures to patients.
  • Perform fingerstick INR and other point-of-care testing.
  • Centrifuge, process, label, and prepare specimens for transport.
  • Ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and processing.
  • Provide professional, patient-centered care.
  • Support timely laboratory results for diagnosis and treatment decisions.

Requirements:

  • Education: HS diploma
  • Years of experience: 2+ years experience needed.
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Pediatrics experience (Preferred)

Additional Information: Location: Norwood, MA Job Type: 6-month contract (with possibility of extension) Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday) Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
