Position: High School English Language Arts Teacher – Grades 9-12 Location: High School Employment Type: Full Time, Regular School Year Closing Date: 05/19/2026 Job Description High school English Language Arts Teacher for grades 9-12 Full time position, regular school year Job Requirements Must meet State of Michigan Highly Qualified requirements Current Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with ELA endorsement BA or BX Must pass fingerprint check prior to employment Proficient in technology and student engagement techniques Instruct high school students according to the ELA State standards Proficient in classroom management techniques and ELA curriculum Ability to: collaborate with department members; use best practices that maximize student engagement and differentiation; use assessment strategies to track and foster student growth Attend professional development meetings/training and collaborate with peers for continuous growth Experience working with high school aged children preferred ESL certified and bilingual applicants a plus Notes Coaching or advisory opportunities may also be available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
