MEP Project Manager, Data CenterAnderson, SCFull-Time, TravelingA construction company is hiring an MEP Project Manager to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing facets of a data center construction project, delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This role serves as the primary project leader and liaison between the project team and the client, and involves travel to project sites.Schedule: Full-time. Traveling role, based out of the project site location.Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 per year.What You'll Do:This manager leads the administration of the project safety program and ensures superintendents have the necessary trades, materials, and equipment available to construct the project efficiently. The role oversees subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support schedule delivery and scope of work commitments, and performs and oversees project-specific QA/QC practices to ensure the project meets specifications and quality standards. This position completes and communicates daily activity reports and project progress updates to all stakeholders, and conducts site walk-throughs to confirm safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are maintained. The manager identifies and resolves field and design issues, leads coordination meetings, and represents the site team in owners' meetings. This role develops and maintains the site logistics plan with the General Superintendent, develops scopes of work for each subcontractor, performs constructability reviews, and leads preconstruction meetings ahead of each project phase. The manager tracks field progress against the project plan, assists in developing recovery plans as needed, ensures quality control aligns with the project's QA program, and leads the project close-out process, including punch list coordination and permit management. This position also participates in strategic planning, including VDC processes.Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of construction management experienceExperience managing trades valued at $50 million or moreExperience with large or complex safety plan implementationStrong working knowledge of Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS ProjectProven track record organizing project teams to accomplish project goalsEffective negotiation and contract management skillsExperience managing projects using established cost reporting methods (cash flow, safety, cost, schedule, VDC)Extensive knowledge of all facets of constructionUnderstanding of contract types and terms, including General Conditions, burn rates, and fee analysisUnderstanding of insurance programs, including SDI, builder's risk policies, OCIP, and CCIPPreferred QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent relevant education, training, or work experience)PMP certificationData center construction experienceCompensation and Benefits:$150,000 to $200,000 per yearStandard benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
