Veterinary Technician – Surgery Dallas, TX • Full-Time Schedule Monday – Friday (7 am–3 pm) Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed technicians. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. Obtain relevant health history from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Experience & Skills Requirements Required: 2+ years of continuous veterinary technician work (direct animal/patient care). Required: Previous surgery experience. LVT, RVT, CVT, VTS (ECC) encouraged to apply. Desire to practice empathetic, gold‑standard medicine benefiting patients. Team‑oriented with ability to collaborate and support each other. Positive, kind, and trustworthy communication with patients, team members, and clients. Desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician.
