Seeking BE/BC OBGYN to join fantastic team near Myrtle Beach, SC. WHY PHYSICIANS CHOOSE THIS PRACTICE: Established Women’s Health program with strong community trust and referral volume Collegial, team based culture where physicians support one another Predictable clinic schedule with protected administrative time Shared call model designed to support work life balance Strong nursing and APP support across clinic and labor and delivery Leadership that values long term retention, physician voice, and continuity of care POSITION OVERVIEW: Primarily outpatient focused role with inpatient responsibilities for deliveries and gynecologic surgery Standard clinic schedule (36 patient facing hours + 4 hours of admin time) Shared call rotation among physicians, typically 1:7 to 1:8 Team Structure: 8 OBGYN physicians, 1 GYN APP, and 2 CNM Dedicated nursing support Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation + Ambient AI for charting TYPICAL SERVICES & PROCEDURES: Prenatal care and deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean Gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomies and laparoscopic procedures Office based procedures such as IUD placement and colposcopy Well woman care and complex gynecologic problem visits LABOR & DELIVERY ENVIRONMENT: hospital manages high risk pregnancies up to 32 weeks gestation Level II nursery on site L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section operating rooms are all located on the same floor L&D is located across the hall from postpartum care High risk transfers requiring advanced neonatal support are transferred to McLeod Level III NICU (1-2 hours by ground) or MUSC Level IV NICU (45 minutes by helicopter) using established protocols COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $25k+ sign-on bonus Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) with additional WRVU bonuses Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match.
