Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist Assistant role based in Miami, FL. The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, and using appropriate modalities to promote recovery and functional improvement. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient evaluations, documenting progress in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards, and reinforcing home exercise programs and patient education. The role also involves monitoring patient safety and comfort, communicating changes in patient status to supervising therapists, and working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to follow and execute treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Strong Patient Care and Quality Patient Care skills, including empathetic communication, patient education, and consistent attention to safety and comfort. Experience or interest in Orthopedics, including treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and mobility restoration. Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current or eligible state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida. Ability to work effectively in a clinical team, manage time and caseload efficiently, and maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.
