The facility holds an Integrated Network Cancer Center Program (INCP) accreditation by the Commission on Cancer, a National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) certification, and is recognized as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 for both inpatient and ambulatory facilities, ensuring top-tier electronic medical record adoption.

Job Details:

• Join a dedicated HEM/ONC team of 4 MDs and 3 APCs with anticipated future growth and expansion
• Consultative call only, with hospitalists handling admissions and overnight coverage
• Manage an average of 10-12 follow-up visits and 2-4 new patients per day
• Approximately 8-10 days of call per month
• Provide regional outreach care one day per week/month to clinics in Jamestown, ND; Lisbon, ND; Wahpeton, ND; Detroit Lakes, MN; Park Rapids, MN; and Fosston, MN
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for seamless patient care
• Work alongside comprehensive support services including nutrition support, social workers, nurse navigators, behavioral therapists, certified cancer care physical therapists, and lymphedema specialists
• Access to on-site specialty services including Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Genetic Counseling, and Palliative Care
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences
• Utilize telemedicine/TCON/Virtual Visits and community cancer centers to extend patient reach
• Benefit from NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant providing access to cutting-edge clinical trials
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
• Prior experience as a Hematology/Oncology Physician required
