FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTES

2026-2027 School Year 3.5 - 6 hours per day Starting Pay: $17.54 per hour Qualifications: Prepare food / learn to prepare and serve food- in large quantities, using large kitchen equipment; clean equipment, serving areas, hand wash pots and pans, and other cleaning and sanitizing duties; perform all duties while following National Restaurant Association standards for sanitation and safety; perform simple math functions; walk and stand for duration of work schedule; work safely and accurately under a deadline; follow direction and work independently; work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a positive working environment; safely tolerate exposure to heat, humidity, steam, cooking odors, refrigerator and freezer temperatures, and cleaning solutions; work in a clean and sanitary manner; and have fun and display a positive attitude at work.
