Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatment to a diverse patient population including adolescent, adult, geriatric, and orthopedic patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Manage a caseload of 11+ patient visits per day and 55+ visits per week, maintaining 90% productivity
• Conduct and document 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments with an average treatment time of 60 minutes
• Treat a broad range of conditions including orthopedic, post-operative, and musculoskeletal diagnoses such as ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs, disc herniation, total joint replacements, and more
• Complete clinical documentation using the NextGen documentation system, supported by AI-assisted scribe technology
• Collaborate with Patient Experience Coordinators and Rehab Aides to ensure a high-quality patient care experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PTA (new graduates will not be considered)
• Ability to maintain 90% productivity and manage a high-volume caseload
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn electronic documentation systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating orthopedic and post-operative patient populations
• Familiarity with the NextGen documentation platform
• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic setting
