POSITION TITLE: Insurance Sales Agent, Luray, VA

STATUS : Exempt

LOCATION : Page County office in Luray Virginia (with Travel to meet with existing and new clients)

REPORTS TO: Agency Manager

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)

Average First-Year Total Compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)

Total compensation — which includes base salary, commissions, and performance-based earnings — is driven by your individual effort, hustle, and the relationships you build with members. The figures above reflect real average first-year Agent earnings across our agency network. The ceiling? There isn't one. POSITION SUMMARY

Virginia Farm Bureau desires to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the Page County Farm Bureau Office located in Luray, VA.

If you are a driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual, this position is for you! Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships and a desire to help and serve their community members and organizations.

Our W-2 employee agents are provided an existing book of business to review and service, a base salary, commissions on new sales, numerous bonuses, and elaborate trips for top performers.

Preferred Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class.
• Ask about our lucrative sign on bonus!
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required.
• Goal-Oriented and driven to succeed.
