This role requires a deep understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to a variety of audiences. The Technical Writer will ensure that all documentation meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy, supporting the organization’s mission and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and operational guides, ensuring clarity and accuracy.Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and understand the technical details necessary for documentation.Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect changes in technology, processes, and systems.Ensure compliance with all relevant security and confidentiality guidelines, particularly those related to TS/SCI clearance requirements.Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of documentation to ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence to company standards.Assist in the development of templates and style guides to standardize documentation across the organization.Participate in meetings and briefings to stay informed about project developments and updates, integrating new information into documentation as needed.Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for technical writing and documentation processes within the organization.Required Education:A Master’s degreeRequired Experience:Must have at least 12 years’ experience in technical writing or a related fieldExperience in writing, editing, and managing documentation for complex technical subjectsProven track record of working in high-security environments, particularly within government or defense sectorsRequired Skills and Abilities:Must have an active/current TS/SCI clearance and be able to pass a CI PolygraphExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and conciselyStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, or similarDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistentlyStrong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sourcesKnight Federal Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information or any other protected classification. #J-18808-Ljbffr Knight Federal Solutions Inc
