Mike's Red Tacos is looking for motivated, dependable leaders who are passionate about great food, exceptional guest service, and helping teams succeed.

As a Shift Leader, you'll play a critical role in leading daily restaurant operations, coaching team members, and ensuring every shift delivers the quality, service, and hospitality our guests expect.

This position is based in our Pasadena Corporate Store & Training Center, a designated training restaurant that serves as a model for operational excellence across the brand.

What started as a single food truck has grown into one of the most exciting emerging brands in the restaurant industry. With more than 200 locations under development, Mike's Red Tacos is bringing the Love of Red to communities across the country, and our teams are helping make it happen every day.

• Lead shifts and ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations
  
• Coach and support team members in real time
  
• Drive speed of service, food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
  
• Ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards
  
• Monitor shift performance, order accuracy, and guest experience metrics
  
• Address guest concerns and create memorable experiences
  
• Support onboarding and development of new team members
  
• Help maintain a "training-ready" restaurant that reflects best-in-class operations
  
• Model Mike's Red Tacos culture, values, and standards every day
  

✔ 6 months to 1+ year of leadership, key-holder, or shift management experience preferred

✔ Restaurant experience preferred

✔ Strong communication and coaching skills

✔ Ability to lead by example and motivate a team

✔ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

✔ Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence

✔ Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift
