Summary:

Vighter is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role supports administrative, communication, and light marketing functions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing front-office responsibilities with light creative and social media support.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Greet and assist all visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and emails.
• Maintain reception area appearance and office organization.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Support various departments with clerical and operational tasks.
• Assist with basic social media posting and updates as directed.
• Support creation of simple visual content using Canva or similar tools.
• Help maintain consistency of company branding across communications.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

 

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Outgoing personality.
• 1+ year experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and social media communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Professional appearance and customer-service demeanor.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:

• This is an in-office, day shift position. Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Travel:

• As required to satisfy the contractual obligations. Commute is non-compensatory. All official travel is government funded.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to stand or sit for more than 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 10 feet.
• Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.
• Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print.
• Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
• Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.
• Must undergo Urine Drug Screen (UDS).
• Must be a Citizen of the United States or legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
