Sefi Fabricators is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Programmer/Draftsman to join our team in Amityville, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical programming skills with precision drafting in a dynamic, hands-on environment. If you thrive on turning complex designs into reality, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC or CAD/CAM programs for manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCad
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and project requirements
- Modify and update existing programs and drawings as project needs evolve
- Perform quality checks on programs and drafts to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain organized documentation of programs, drawings, and revisions
- Speak with Customers about their project needs
- Experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, or technical drafting
- Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and accuracy
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment
- Be familiar with properties of stainless steel
