Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Oversees and manages our after care program Checks students in and out from after care, ensuring that all policies and procedures for student pick up are enforced Oversees extended day assistant to ensure proper supervision of all students Plans, prepares, and develops various activities for use in the classroom which could include activity sheets, drawings, and hands‑on activities. Leads classroom activities Assists children, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments or activities to reinforce learning concepts. Will use disciplinary strategies as structured and implemented by the school such as positive reinforcement, time to teach, and other positive behavior management.
