\nPosition Summary\n
\n
\nThe Pain Medicine Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with chronic and acute pain using a comprehensive and interventional approach. The role involves performing minimally invasive procedures, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.\n

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
\nEvaluate patients with pain-related conditions and establish accurate diagnoses.\n
\n
\nDevelop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include interventional procedures, medication management, and therapy referrals.\n
\n
\nPerform procedures such as:\n
\n
\nEpidural steroid injections\n
\n
\nFacet and sacroiliac joint injections\n
\n
\nRadiofrequency ablations\n
\n
\nSpinal cord stimulator trials and implants\n
\n
\nPeripheral nerve blocks and joint injections\n
\n
\nCollaborate with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.\n
\n
\nMaintain accurate, timely medical documentation within the electronic health record system.\n
\n
\nAdhere to state and federal regulatory requirements and organizational policies.\n
\n
\nQualifications\n
\n
\nMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.\n
\n
\nBoard certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology).\n
\n
\nActive and unrestricted Florida medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.\n
\n
\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.\n
\n
