Bankruptcy & Restructuring Partner (New Practice Group)

Confidential law firm is launching a new Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group and is seeking an experienced Partner to build and lead the practice. This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior attorney with a portable book of business and a proven track record advising clients on distressed situations, workouts, corporate restructurings, creditor/debtor representation, and related commercial insolvency matters.The ideal candidate will be a strategic business builder with strong technical legal skills, excellent client relationship abilities, and the entrepreneurial mindset to help establish and grow a new practice area. Experience handling bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring transactions, special situations, and complex negotiations is preferred. Candidates should be admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction(s) and have the ability to contribute to firm growth through business development.This opportunity offers significant autonomy, leadership potential, and the chance to join a collaborative platform with the resources to support expansion. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, portable business, and overall strategic fit.Firm seeks a reasonable client-base of at least $500k or thereabouts, will consider candidates with an expansive network and great reputation that fall a bit short of that.
