Occupational Therapist (Pediatric Outpatient Clinic) - Fairbanks, Alaska

Job Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered)

Schedule: M-F (9am - 5pm) Additional 1 hour paid documentation time daily

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our pediatric outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young adults while supporting their developmental, functional, and independence goals.

This position is open to both experienced therapists and new graduates who are passionate about pediatric care. A strong mentorship program and supportive clinical environment are available to help therapists grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients.

• Support children in developing skills related to: Fine motor development, Sensory processing, Activities of daily living (ADLs), Functional independence, Developmental milestones

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Educate families and caregivers on home strategies and therapeutic activities.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active Alaska Occupational Therapy License.

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply.
