Per Diem Patient Care Associate, Float Pool

Responsibilities Provides direct nursing care to a diverse patient population with a variety of medical conditions and post‑surgical care needs. Performs a wide variety of patient care tasks utilizing a Patient Focused Care model. Follows standardized procedures prescribed in a clinical pathway, including activities related to direct care, diagnostic testing, patient transport, and documentation, as directed by RN. Orienting and mentoring new team members, following universal precautions and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment. Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS) – Active CPR certificate required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Active CNA certificate or at least one year of experience as a PCA, Ed Tech, or CNA in acute or long‑term care. Good communication skills. OR 3rd year BSN student who has completed two clinical rotations. OR Medical Assistant.

OR EMT.

Must be willing to be floated or reassigned to another department, unit, office, or location as needed.
