Assistant Estimator

Sansei Gardens is seeking an Assistant Estimator who will work closely with the Estimating Department in all aspects of the bidding process. Responsibilities: · Reviewing plans and specifications · Performing quantity takeoffs · Obtaining material pricing · Client interactions – pre-bids, budget meeting, estimate follow up · Soliciting and coordinating with subcontractors · Reviewing project scope, attending pre-bid meetings Qualifications: · Able to read, understand and interpret drawings and specifications · Proficiency in Excel · Able to manage multiple projects at one time · Self-directed with a high level of initiative · Able to successfully work within a team and also independently · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Committed to showing professionalism and an eagerness to obtain more skills and responsibilities Company Benefits: · 401(k) · Medical, Dental, Vision · Profit sharing · Paid Time Off · Company Holidays Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 Please Note: This is a general job posting.
