Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4 on, 2 off
Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11pm - 7am)
Experience:
Previous long-term care experience preferred.
Previous working knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) EMR preferred.
Medication passing experience preferred.
License:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
Certifications:
Current CPR & First Aid Certification required.
Certification of Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants required.
Certification of Dementia Specialty Training, Mental Health Specialty Training, and Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training required on hire.
Initiate Criminal Background checks upon start date.
N95 mask fitting required using approved masks.
TB Testing required as stipulated in WAC 388-78A.
Must-Have:
Minimum of 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Description:
Provides vital support to both patients and nurses.
Assists with transporting patients and daily living activities.
Offers medication assistance and safety checks.
Helps oversee the safety of occupants.
Facilitates social-emotional support.
Aims to enhance occupant outcomes.
