RF Field Engineer in Clifton

RF Field Engineer Location: Clifton, NJ C Squared Systems, LLC is a consulting and software development company specializing in RF engineering, DAS systems and Wi‑Fi network design and deployment. Primary Responsibilities Takes the lead on system commissioning, integration and activation. Performs system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters and other electronic test equipment. Conducts site surveys and detailed walkthroughs. Hands‑on work with antennas, fiber optics, coaxial cable and RF amplifiers. Troubleshoots and repairs systems for optimal performance. Applies RF principles and theory (signal path, power, frequency, noise, modulation, etc.). Multi‑tasks on projects day‑to‑day. Maintains test equipment and tools for continuous use. Travels to various job sites within Maryland and neighboring regions (DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware). Skills & Qualifications 2‑year college degree (preferably technical) with relevant coursework. 2+ years of related experience, including DAS architecture and other cellular systems. Knowledge of wireless technologies such as CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, LTE. Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and advance. Comfortable working in high‑pressure situations. Ability to receive and give direction as needed. Knowledge of RF optimisation techniques and best practices. Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Self‑motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
