Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST Location: On‑site — Van Nuys, CA (work location subject to change based on business needs) In This Role, You’ll Contribute To Work That Help patients feel supported and prepared throughout ongoing therapy Strengthen communication between patients, providers, and pharmacy teams Support compliance with pharmacy, payer, and regulatory requirements Advance a patient‑first, clinician‑led care model focused on outcomes What You’ll Do Support ongoing patient care by coordinating prescription refill outreach and follow‑up Gather required documentation from patients and provider offices to support therapy continuation Submit insurance re‑authorizations and prior authorizations as needed Communicate professionally with patients and providers while complying with all state pharmacy regulations and HIPAA requirements Ensure clinical compliance by asking required screening questions and escalating concerns appropriately to a pharmacist Serve as a point of contact for provider offices and help maintain strong referral relationships Collaborate with pharmacy operations teams to support daily workflow needs Assist with processing e‑scripts, faxes, refills, labels, and delivery coordination as permitted under pharmacist supervision Maintain accurate patient, insurance, and referral documentation in designated systems Identify opportunities to improve patient support processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service What We’re Looking For You May Be a Great Fit If You Bring: A strong customer‑service mindset grounded in empathy and professionalism Clear, calm communication with patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners Comfort working in structured, regulated healthcare environments Strong organization skills and attention to detail A proactive, team‑oriented approach to patient support Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Current Pharmacy Technician registration and/or certification in good standing (or commitment to obtain required registration within 60 days, as permitted by state law) Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers Experience with data entry, technology navigation, and basic medical terminology Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician certification (if not required by state Board of Pharmacy) One or more years of experience in specialty pharmacy Experience communicating with healthcare practices, inpatient or outpatient facilities, skilled nursing, or home care settings Why LUX Infusion At LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light—more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.
