Security Engineer - Platform Security

Responsibilities

• Review AI systems and integrations for security risks before and after deployment.
• Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls for AI agents.
• Build or implement systems to track and manage AI identities and their access.
• Detect and mitigate prompt injection across Plaid’s AI surface area.
• Conduct AI-focused security reviews and establish security standards for other teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience securing AI technologies through deploying guardrails or sandboxes, managing AI identities, detecting or mitigating prompt injection, conducting AI security reviews, or implementing AI security tooling.
• Preferred experience at a frontier AI lab or on a security team defending production AI systems at scale.
• Preferred experience with Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Platform Security, Corporate Security, Security Operations, or Detection and Response teams.
• Preferred software security review, SDLC, vulnerability discovery, or offensive security experience.
