You will understand each family deeply enough to recognize their needs ahead of time—and possess the judgment and composure to address what they bring with tact, care, and seamless professionalism. Over time, you will not simply be part of their child's education. You will become woven into how they navigate this phase of their family's journey.

This level of trust is not built through systems. It emerges from presence—steady, daily, and unhurried. You will be there at morning arrival and afternoon dismissal, at evening gatherings that hold meaning, and in private conversations that never appear on a schedule. You will cultivate a community that families protect fiercely, where inclusion feels natural and referrals arise because the experience merits them.

Alpha is not a conventional school. Students complete core academics in two hours daily through AI-driven applications, then dedicate the remainder of their time to public speaking, critical thinking, and hands-on projects. You will carry that dialogue with each family, through every uncertainty, for the duration of their enrollment. What You Will Be Doing

• Take full ownership of the relationship with every family at your campus—the sustained, evolving connection that makes parents feel recognized, not merely supported
• Foresee concerns before they surface as discussions, and address them with the tact and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
• Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning arrival (7–9am), afternoon dismissal (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend programming
• Create a campus community with authentic depth—events, traditions, and moments that help families feel part of something they value protecting
• Develop parent champions naturally, delivering experiences of such reliable quality that referrals emerge as the inevitable result
• Sustain the dialogue about Alpha's AI-powered approach with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and moments of uncertainty—not only during enrollment, but across their entire campus experience
• Recognize when a family does not align with the community and manage that situation with the same poise you apply to all interactions—safeguarding the community is an act of service
• Establish the systems and routines this role demands in a setting where the framework is still being developed

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Overseeing enrollment—that responsibility belongs to the Admissions Director; your work begins once families enroll and grows from that point
• Operating from behind a desk—your visibility within the community defines the role
• Adhering to standard 9–5 hours—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening programming are integral to the position, not occasional demands
• Relying on administrative infrastructure, established protocols, or a full support team—you function with significant autonomy and create what is needed
• Approaching family relationships as transactional accounts—this role rewards authentic connection, not procedural adherence

Director Of Admissions And Enrollment Key Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted relationship anchor for every family's Alpha experience. Sustain their confidence through challenging moments, foster a community where belonging feels intentional, and establish the conditions under which satisfied families become active advocates.

Basic Requirements

• Currently living within commuting range of one of these campuses OR prepared to relocate within 60 days (candidates with established local community ties preferred): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
• 5+ years in a relationship-centered role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropic work, or any context where discretion, warmth, and social fluency mattered as much as competence
• Proven capacity to sustain relationships through challenging moments with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout
• Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—not rehearsed in a way that feels artificial
• Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education—professionally or as a parent—that equips you with credibility when families raise questions about the model
• Authentic conviction in AI-powered education and the capacity to sustain that belief genuinely over years of parent engagement, not only at the point of enrollment
• Flexibility for variable hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening programming 2–3x/month, and occasional weekend activities

Nice-to-have Requirements

Outstanding candidates will possess at least one of the following:

• Established connections within the local affluent community that would provide you with immediate, organic credibility on campus
• Private school or independent school background with a proven record of family retention and community engagement—not merely enrollment metrics
• Experience managing high-stakes family relationships where your judgment and discretion were the foundation of sustained trust
• A talent for designing experiences—events, interactions, environments—where people feel they are part of something meaningful and worth defending
• Prior startup or early-stage experience where you built systems from scratch and remained composed amid rapid change

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
