Insurance Coordinator - Licensed Practical Nurse

A large specialty physician group located in Overland Park, KS is currently seeking a qualified LPN to join their team full-time. Title Insurance Coordinator – Radiology/Oncology (LPN) Job Type Direct Hire / Permanent Hire Location Overland Park, KS Setting Administrative / Insurance – Radiology / Oncology Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Pay $25-$30/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Coordinate patient care throughout the radiology and imaging process Schedule imaging and radiology procedures while ensuring timely follow-up Obtain and manage prior authorizations and insurance approvals for imaging services Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Submit clinical documentation and follow up on pending authorizations Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, imaging centers, and insurance companies Track imaging orders and communicate appointment instructions to patients Document patient interactions and authorization updates within the EMR Requirements Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience (radiology, oncology, or specialty clinic settings a plus) At least 1 year of insurance authorization and/or radiology scheduling experience required; experience completing prior authorizations for oncology or urology patients is highly preferred Experience working within an EMR system (EPIC is a plus) Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc.
