Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Role Overview An Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) supports occupational therapists by delivering therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, following professional and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living (ADL) training. Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence through exercises and adaptive techniques. Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies for continued progress. Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive patient care and support therapist evaluations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Must hold a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification, with preferred CPR certification. Educational requirement includes a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Experience ranges from 0-1 years. #J-18808-Ljbffr
