CT Technologist - Weekend Option

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining equipment according to infection control standards. They work independently to operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to minimize radiation dose, and accurately capture diagnostic images. Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, administering contrast when needed, positioning patients correctly, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality. They must document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support departmental workflow. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Skills required are technical proficiency, attention to detail, patient communication, infection control, and teamwork.
