Why Join Seegrid?Seegrid is the leading provider of Physical AI for material handling.  Our solution includes autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), fleet management software, actionable analytics, and best-in-class services and support.  Our technology is proven.  Our AMRs have safely driven millions of autonomous miles in real-world production facilities.  We are seeking energetic, bright, and friendly people to help achieve our vision:  to fortify global supply chains and create profitable economies with safe, seamless, and smart mobile robotics solutions. About the Role:The Quality Technician must execute all Quality Control Standard operating procedures, work instructions, and accurately document the results to ensure our products & sub-assemblies satisfy all safety, performance, reliability and specific customer requirements.  The Quality Technician will be responsible to participate in continuous improvement, auditing, and lean manufacturing projects to improve efficiency, quality, and on time delivery.  A high attention to detail, with the ability to perform mechanical and electrical measurement methods & techniques is required. Responsibilities Include:Perform quality control product inspections, performance, and safety testing on Seegrid products which adequately cover technical, customer, and regulatory requirements.  This includes accurately documenting the results.Perform supplier component inspections, first article, incoming QC, non-conforming material inspections, calibrations, using test and measurement equipment while maintaining recordsAbility to interpret mechanical, electrical design drawings and specificationsCreate ECN/OPS/QCD cases which accurately describe/document a nonconformance finding with photos, log files, detailed measurements, etc.Accurately troubleshoot products and equipment against proceduresRequired Qualifications:Minimum Associate Degree or technical school degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, or Electronics discipline.Two years minimum experience in Electro-Mechanical product testing using software interface, robotics technology, industrial automation, or engineering technicianProficient in Microsoft Office/Excel, Google workspace, ERP systemsBasic quality control knowledge, lean manufacturing concepts and applicationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorks well in both individual and team environmentsStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learnAbility to work in noisy and busy environmentsAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds100% on-site position at Seegrid HQ locationOccasional overtime and/or weekend work (Saturday) may be required depending on shipping requirementsDesired Qualifications:Linux operating system command line experience is a strong plusUnderstanding of verification and validation (V&V) methodology (procedures and test reports) is a plusIPC Certification and/or standards knowledge is a strong plus (PCBA & Wireharness)Seegrid has been recognized nationally as a Best-Place-to-Work.  We'd love to have you join us!All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, nation origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.  Seegrid is an equal opportunity employer Minorities/Females/People with Disabilities/Protected Veterans/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
