SafeHavenDefenseUSisseekinganew SeniorAccountant inArizonatomaintainfinancialrecordsandreportsofthecompany,facilitatethemonth-endcloseprocess,performaccountreconciliations,salestaxreporting,andoverseeAccountsPayableandAccountsReceivable.Thispositionwillalsoassisttheleadershipwithbudgetsandforecastandothergeneral-ledgertasks. *Thisisa salaried,exemptposition (noteligibleforovertime)andallowsfor1daytoworkfromhome. JobDuties PreparemonthlyclosingjournalentriesinQuickbooks. Maintainreconciliationsforbalancesheetandincomestatementaccounts. Reconcilevendorpayablesandcustomerreceivables. Managecustomerbillingandcollections. EnsurerevenueandexpensesareproperlyrecordedinQuickbooks. Processandmaintaindaily,weekly,andmonthlycashreconciliations. ManagevendorbillingandpaymentremittanceincludingoverseeingtheAccountingCoordinatorwithprocessingapprovedinvoicesintheaccountingsystemandcorrespondingpaymentstovendors. Overseethemanagementofmonthlycompanycreditcardreconciliations. Overseemulti-statesalestaxprocessingandreconcilerelatedsalestaxliabillityaccounts. EnsurecompliancewithGAAPandcompanypolicies. Responsibleforgeneratingmonthlysalescommissionreportsandstatements. Supportfinancialyear-endauditandotherreportingrequests. Performsotherrelateddutiesasassigned. RequiredSkills/Abilities: Professionalself-starterandservice-orientedteamplayerwhoisabletoworkbothindependentlyandcollaborativelyonateamwithotherdepartmentstoprioritizetaskstomeetandenforcedeadlinesformultipleprojectsatatime. Education,ExperienceandRequirements: Bachelor'sdegreeinaccountingorfinancerequired. Sevenyearsofrelatedaccountingexperiencerequiredinanequivalentrole. 3-5yearsofmanagementexperience. 3yearsofexperienceworkingwithsalestax. Demonstratedexperiencewithaccounting,HRISandCRMsoftware.Quickbooks,MiterandHubspotpreferred. Abilitytopassapre-employmentdrugscreenandbackgroundcheck. PhysicalRequirements: Abilitytosit,stand,drive,and/orwalkfor2-10hoursperday. Prolongedperiodssittingatadeskandworkingonacomputerfor2-8hoursperday. Physicalcapabilitytoperformtasksinvolvingfrequentstanding,sitting,walking,driving,bending,stooping,squatting,kneeling,pushing/pulling,twisting,reaching,climbing,fingerandfootcontrol,writingandrepetitivehandling/grasping.
