What You’ll Do As Operations Manager, you’ll be the go-to person making sure the site runs smoothly, safely, and ready for action every day. You’ll: Coordinate daily logistics—opening and closing, buses, lunches, and volunteer check-in. Ensure operational readiness with supplies, technology, and custodial/maintenance support. Oversee safety procedures, including emergency protocols and check-in/check-out systems. Support simulation programs, handling setup, troubleshooting, and tech support. Keep track of supplies and event logistics to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Serve as a subject matter expert on organization programs. Step in as backup for the Simulation Lead Manager (tech) and the Director (budgeting and reporting). What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Nonprofit Management, Operations, or related field. 5+ years in operations, facilities, or logistics (nonprofit/educational experience a plus). Skilled in daily site logistics, safety, and operational readiness. Comfortable with technology troubleshooting and supporting program simulations/events. Experience managing budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships. Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
