Job Summary:

The Material Handler / Parts Kitter is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring timely and accurate material handling, parts kitting, and execution of work orders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to standard operating procedures while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform material handling and parts kitting to support production teams
• Execute assembly tasks following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain smooth material flow and ensure timely completion of work orders
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and SOP documentation
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary
• Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), GMP, and ISO standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain quality
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Identify and recommend improvements in production methods, quality, and efficiency
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
• Train new team members on equipment and procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with regulations

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with parts kitting and material handling
• Experience with hand tools
• Exposure to regulated environments (FDA, GMP, ISO)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

High School Diploma or equivalent required
