Senior Accountant

Ionbond is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, fixed assets, foreign exchange, inter‑company transfers, and month‑end close processes. This position is based in Madison Heights, MI; initial on‑site training is required, with the opportunity for hybrid work flexibility after training is complete. Review and input system‑generated data, prepare journal entries, and make adjustments for monthly financial closing. Analyze balance sheet accounts, create supporting schedules, and suggest adjustments when needed. Reconcile and correct company bank accounts, maintaining records for accuracy. Support financial audits and assist with managing fixed asset systems. Support US Controllers by providing accounting and finance assistance. Analyze financial activity for income tax preparation and maintain fixed asset and depreciation records, ensuring accurate journal entries. Handle purchase order processing and manage employee credit card transactions. Undertake additional accounting, financial, and administrative tasks assigned by the Financial Controllers. We are seeking a candidate with: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience with international manufacturing or industrial industry knowledge experience working for multiple locations Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office ERP system experience (Microsoft Navision or Business Central) Strong familiarity with basic bookkeeping Account Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills detail oriented Ability to devise or modify methods or processes to solve specific problems and ability to manage multiple projects and work under time pressures to meet established deadlines Must be able to pass a criminal/credit background check and drug screen/fit‑for‑duty physical exam.
