Desired Skills & Background:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting educational assessments and writing reports
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
• Proficiency providing counseling and direct intervention to students
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous work in K-12 settings is highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to evaluate student needs
• Deliver short-term counseling and social-emotional support as necessary
• Work closely with teachers and parents to develop effective interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to support students’ learning plans
• Consult with staff to promote effective classroom management and a positive school culture
• Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
