Mission Support Specialist

Contingent Upon Award

Provides essential administrative and logistical support to ensure efficient daily operations at the CBP Hiring Center. This role supports mission-critical hiring activities by coordinating office operations, managing resources, and enabling staff to execute high-volume applicant processing and administrative functions.

Scope Of Work Oversight

• Administrative and logistical support operations
• Office coordination, inventory, and resource management
• Scheduling, travel coordination, and operational support functions
• Records tracking, training compliance, and reporting support

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages
• Coordinate meetings and conference room scheduling
• Maintain office supplies, inventory, and equipment
• Support onboarding logistics and general office operations
• Track training requirements and certifications
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• 2+ years of administrative or office support experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard HR/administrative systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Primarily on-site, with presence required to meet mission and operational needs
• Telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis depending on business requirements
• High-volume, fast-paced environment supporting critical federal hiring operations and national security missions
