Universal BankerThe position is an all-encompassing role which requires the teammate to deliver best in class customer experience, sales/service solutions, as well as handle teller transactions. The Universal Banker creates a positive customer relationship by effectively communicating a clear understanding of the benefits of Atlantic Union Bank's products and services.Position AccountabilitiesCreate customer loyalty through needs based conversations in order to deliver a differentiated customer experienceDevelop and maintain knowledge of bank products, services, including other lines of businessProficiency in digital channel technology and ability to educate customers (e.g., Zoom, Appointment Scheduler Tool, Docu Sign, GRO, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM Banking)Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and external interactions including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions and appointment settingAcquire new customers through prospecting efforts while maintaining and deepening existing customer relationshipsStrong individual sales/referral skills to identify and close sales opportunities to contribute to personal and branch sales goalsPromote the branch's overall growth through the development and retention of new and existing customersPartner with other lines of business in order to identify/refer customer needs (e.g., Mortgage, Investments, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Merchant Services, Treasury Management)Uncover and provide solutions for lending needsServe as a contact for customer problem resolution regarding deposit, credit, and other products and servicesReview individual performance via scorecard and other resources and make necessary adjustments to meet sales performance goalsPerform teller functions and cash transactionsBalance cash each dayAdhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with Atlantic Union Bankshares' BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgement within established limitsPerform complex branch operational duties as assignedEnsure that all required training is successfully completedOther duties as assignedOrganizational RelationshipThis position reports to the assigned leader of the branch.Position QualificationsEducation & ExperiencePossess or be able to obtain an NMLS registrationHigh school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferredMinimum of 1 year experience in banking or financial services preferredMinimum of 1 year developing customer relationships, achieving sales/production goals, and building referral sources preferredPrevious cash handling experience preferredTeller experience strongly preferredCustomer service experience requiredLending experience preferredKnowledge & SkillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to exercise sound business judgmentProficient computer skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks with attention to detailsFlexible, able to adapt to changeShifts may vary for each position offering, depending on business needAble to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 30 poundsCompensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location, etc.Eligible teammates may participate in a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, retirement savings through a 401(k) plan, wellness resources, and other programs designed to support teammates' health and financial well-being, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
