Sr. Applications Engineer

Overview GEOTEK/PUPI is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer to lead the design and evolution of engineered composite products used in critical infrastructure applications. This is a product-focused engineering role that offers opportunity to own product design from concept through validation and launch, and provides significant visibility and impact. What You’ll Do Lead development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product lines Translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions Perform structural analysis and calculations (hand calculations, FEA, modeling, etc.) Guide prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification Interpret lab and field test data to drive design decisions Create and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications Support technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders Identify product innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering 5+ years of experience in product development or structural design Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design Experience working through product validation and testing cycles Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with composite materials Familiarity with industry codes or standards (any structural codes) 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) PE license or path toward licensure Compensation The compensation range for this position is $98,174 - $138,099 annually. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
