Dental Assistant – Minneola, FL Location: 1681 N Hancock Rd, Minneola, FL 34715. About the Position Dental Care of Minneola is a Heartland Dental supported office seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. We are looking for a reliable and positive individual who enjoys providing clinical patient care, maintaining a comfortable environment, and supporting the dentist’s schedule. No weekends; Monday off. Work Schedule: Tuesday: 7:30 am – 5 pm Wednesday: 6:30 am – 4 pm Thursday: 7:30 am – 5 pm Friday: 6:30 am – 4 pm Responsibilities Assist the dentist in all aspects of treatment and maintain clinical supplies. Take and develop X‑rays and provide post‑operative care to patients. Record medical and dental histories and vital signs. Manage lab equipment and maintain accurate records. Support the dentist during emergencies and routine procedures. Educate patients on dental procedures and address concerns. Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies. Travel at least every other month for training and occasionally overnight. Qualifications Successful completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience. Positive, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent patient‑care and manual dexterity skills. Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new programs. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Ability to build rapport with patients. Previous dental practice experience is a plus. The position may evolve over time at the discretion of the company. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, to be completed prior to starting employment.
