Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a rapidly growing closed door pharmacy specializing in 503A and 503B compounded medications , with a strong focus on GLP-1 therapies . This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to transition into the compounding and production space while working alongside an experienced team in a modern, high volume pharmacy operation. Retail pharmacists are welcome; compounding experience is not required.
Schedule: M-F; 2pm - 10pm
Pay: $65/hr - Weekly Pay
What You'll Do
- Verify prescriptions and oversee the production workflow for compounded medications
- Perform Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and ensure safe, accurate dispensing
- Support the preparation and fulfillment of 503A and 503B compounded prescriptions, including GLP-1 medications
- Ensure compliance with USP standards, state and federal regulations, and pharmacy policies
- Communicate with prescribers, patients, and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription issues
- Monitor pharmacy inventory and maintain accurate documentation using LifeFile and PK Software
- Help maintain an efficient, high quality workflow in a fast paced production environment
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Ability to thrive in a high volume pharmacy setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Interest in compounding, sterile production, and GLP-1 therapies
