Jr. Data Engineer
Experience working with general industry models
Implementing universal modeling patterns, selective levels of abstraction, and enforcing business rules to ensure data quality
Skilled in normalization and selective de-normalization of physical models
Familiar with Inmon and Kimball design strategies
Profile data ingestion requirements from SORs, Data Lakes or Data Warehouses
Understand optimal data ingestion patterns
Structure conceptual, logical, and physical models
Configure Azure SQL or PostgreSQL tables, views, indexes, etc.
Strong communication skills
Experience with large size corporations
Experience with use case analysis
Experience with normalization and the skill to selectively de-normalize
Programming Skills:
Strong SQL Skills
NoSQL
Data Structures (XML, JSON, RDBMS, Paquet)
Delta Lake
Azure Data Factory (nice to have)
CI/CD Pipelines (nice to have)
Synapse (nice to have)
Python (nice to have)
Ansible (nice to have)
Databricks (nice to have)
This position will require someone to already be in Houston, Texas. NO RELOCATION CANDIDATES PLEASE
