Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Profession: Technologist

Hours per Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Ultrasonographer, OB experience required
License: RDMS certification required
Certifications: BLS required


Must-Have:
- Must live 100 miles away
- On-call every third weekend and flexible for possible weekday call every third week
- OB certification required
- Capable of performing all types of studies, including General and Vascular


Description:
Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease.
Conducts imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety protocols.
Uses sonographic equipment to record images for diagnosing various medical conditions.
Responsible for operating sonographic equipment and communicating the results of examinations.
Functions as the first line interface with patients to meet their imaging needs.
Flexibility is essential as changes may occur depending on facility needs.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is necessary for successful performance in this role.
Education from a Sonographer accredited program is required.
