CHESTNUT SURGERY CENTERNow Hiring: Sterile Processing TechnicianFull-Time | Urology & Ophthalmology ASC | Fresno, CA | 300+ Cases per MonthChestnut Surgery Center, an AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center affiliated with Urology Associates of Central California, is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to join our high-volume surgical team in Fresno. We perform 300+ cases per month across urology and ophthalmology, offering steady, predictable case volume and the chance to build deep specialty expertise in a focused, well-run surgical environment.Why Chestnut Surgery CenterPredictable, full-time daytime schedule, outpatient ASC hours, no hospital call rotation.Focused specialty scope in urology and ophthalmologyHigh-functioning, tenured surgical team in a physician-owned, AAAHC-accredited facility.Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification.What You'll DoDecontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instrumentation for urology and ophthalmology cases.Prepare and package instrument trays according to physician preference cards and count sheets.Operate and monitor steam and low-temperature sterilization equipment, including biological and chemical indicator testing.Maintain sterilization logs and instrument tracking documentation for AAAHC compliance.Coordinate tray turnover to keep pace with same-day case scheduling.Assist with operating and procedure room turnover between cases, including removal of used supplies and instrumentation and restocking of sterile trays, to support timely case starts.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prefer at least 1 year of sterile processing experience in a hospital or ASC setting.Comfort working with delicate microsurgical instrumentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to keep pace in a high-volume surgical schedule.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter for consideration.
