ROV Pilot Technician II (Offshore)

General Description Offshore operations, data recording, maintenance and repair of the ROV/Trenching/ROVDrill systems and ancillary equipment under the direction of Superintendent / Supervisor. Position ROV Pilot Technician 2 Region Americas Duties / Responsibilities To perform ROV/Trenching/ROVDrill operations as directed and in accordance with approved procedures and Helix Robotics QHSE Policy and Objectives. To receive and perform inventory control of system spares and consumables. To maintain system and project records (e.g., inventory, weekly safety reports, dive logs, video logs, etc.) under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor. To conduct maintenance in compliance with Helix Robotics Maintenance System, and maintain records of maintenance. To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe. To carry out other tasks as delegated by Helix Robotics Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor. To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude. To apply safe work ethics. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. Competencies High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment. Completion of HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and obtaining a passport. Basic computer skills. Experience with Perry (XLX/XLS) and Schilling (UHD/HD) systems as ROV technicians or supervisors. All applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold a valid U.S. Green Card.
