Vernon, OH Compensation Includes Starting Pay Rate of $23.13/hour Additional $1/hour shift differential on night shift Available Shift Nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am Will train on 1st shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) for the first month of employment Overview A successful feeder packer will be responsible for preparing materials for processing, feed them into machinery, inspect finished products for quality, and package the products for shipments. This role is fast paced and requires attention to detail and efficiency. Responsibilities Print Labels, port tickets, WIP tickets, production orders and specification sheets for shift Staffing for packers and line assignments based on standards Manage training for new packers & trainers Coordination of meal and breaks for packers Maintain inventory for production labels, port tickets, WIP labels Ensure line is ready for set up process, by clearing line Manages packers when line goes down and reviews work assignments Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Have forklift experience Qualifications Stable work history; Preferably one year of experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker Record of dependability & reliability Willingness to work overtime as needed Company Benefits What You'll Get From Us Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
