Staff Accountant

Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This is a hands-on, on-site role best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes ownership of financial accuracy across multiple entities. Responsibilities Review, categorize, and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks in accordance with the chart of accounts Perform transaction splits and ensure proper classification across accounts Reconcile bank accounts and verify all entries for accuracy and completeness Maintain and support general ledger integrity, including exporting and analyzing data in Excel Add clear, written detailed descriptions and supporting documentation for all transactions Investigate discrepancies by working with internal teams and external vendors Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes Assist in preparing weekly cash flow reports and financial summaries Cross-check financial data against marketing and operational reports Qualifications Strong experience with QuickBooks and Excel Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to independently investigate and resolve discrepancies Comfortable working with high-volume transactional data Prior experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role required Accounting or bookkeeping education preferred What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience ($85,000 – $100,000) Stable, positive, and professional work environment Opportunity for growth within a multi-entity organization Performance-based bonuses and additional perks Tremendous growth potential with a growing international organization About the Company You will be working across a group of affiliated companies, including: World’s Best Nutritionals and Organics Trudeau Consulting, Training and Coaching TruStar Publishing (publisher of #1 NY Times bestselling books primarily focused on personal development) Global Information Network (an international “Success Club” with members in over 150 countries) The Official Kevin Trudeau Fan Club Additional Expectations This is a fully on-site position based in Schaumburg, IL Business professional dress is required You will be required to travel (at company expense) approximately 4 times per year to Global Information Network events (4–5 day weekends), assisting with event operations. Past locations have included the Orlando, Boston, Miami, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Aruba, Canada, Europe, and Caribbean cruises. You will be required to read 12 personal development books during your first 12 months of employment (titles include Your Wish Is Your Command, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Game of Work, Karmic Management, and others) and you will be tested on your knowledge of the material in the books.
