Mazzetti's Bakery is a family-owned and operated bakery 15 minutes south of San Francisco serving the greater Bay Area for over 50 years. We are looking for individuals to join our growing team! This is a great position for an individual who likes to work with a small team and is looking to develop an understanding of the inner workings of a bakery or refine bakery skills. Inform customers about bakery products and services. Bakery team members are expected to maintain a sufficient amount of knowledge about all products in-store and be able to answer questions and make suggestions to customers. Assist customers with orders both in person and over the phone Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of Storefront Re-stock baked goods in store as needed Skills Excellent customer service skills, good attitude and the ability to work with others Ability to understand and follow instructions Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Respect for self and others Reliable, punctual and committed to customer service Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: From $16 per hour starting, plus cash and credit card tips Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Restaurant type: Bakery Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Morning shift Weekly day range: Monday to Friday Rotating weekends Weekends as needed COVID-19 considerations: Employee and customer both must wear masks, new employees should be vaccinated against Covid-19 to assist with limiting the spread, hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the building, increased ventilation and fans, increased surface sanitizing Ability to commute/relocate: Pacifica, CA 94044: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Basic math: 1 year (Preferred) Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
